The brief was to turn an unloved occasional guest bedroom into a welcoming space for guests and children alike! Day to day, this room is a playroom - but a sofa bed and more grown-up jungle wallpaper ensure that it also makes an inviting place for family & friends who are staying overnight.
As you can see from the before and after photos below, a bed used to dominate the room, even though it was seldom used. Having a sofa bed that doubles as a comfy place for adults to sit while watching the children play freed up so much valuable floorspace here - and it also meant that my clients could transform their redundant old wardrobe space into a cosy nook with storage for the kids. The neon sign makes it a true showstopper!
